The Campground
The Campground is in a meadow managed under the Countryside Stewardship Scheme.
It is surrounded by a series of ancient woodlands, which provide tranquillity and shelter, as well as an amazing and safe space to play.
Camping
The camping area is around a mile from the nearest road
It is an easy (if a little bumpy) drive to the camping ground
Cars can be parked close to tents
We welcome
We are a family friendly site with separate areas for adult-only campers
Well behaved Dogs-on-a-lead are fine
We are a tent-only campsite but love small VW (or similar sized) Campervans.
Campfires
We also love campfires and they are very much encouraged.
Each camping area comes with it own private firepit
In return, we ask that you buy wood from us, that you do not collect it from the local woods and that you only use existing firepits
Facilities
We pride ourselves on offering an authentic camping experience.
There is fresh water, a series of discreet loos and a central washing up area
However, we are off-grid, so have no hot water and no showers. This is back-to basics camping in beautiful, remote countryside
Out & About
There are amazing walks both on and off the Downs
The nearest of a series of great pubs is a 25/30 min walk
The area is famous for it’s vineyards and local produce, but is also just 25 minutes from the bright lights of Brighton
